My first book review – The DaVinci Code
Okay I’m a little excited but after trying for nearly a week to get this damn site to work I came up with an idea. I used my never used (I hate) hotmail account. It worked instantly. Sadly I lost my username that I wanted so I called it MikesBooks instead. Hopefully I can remember that next time I want to log on to http://bibliophil.org/. Well here it is:
I rated it 4 out of 5 stars.
This was an amazing journey of fiction. I use fiction because while a lot of what the author says is true, is nothing more than rumours and speculation put together to form a brilliant story and one that is uniquely fresh.
An easy read, and easy to follow, after reading it I thought it was a bit trashy, however during the reading of the book (I read it in 2 days) I was entranced and transported into another world.
It’s a great read if you remember that it’s fiction and don’t get hung up in the authors attempt to redefine and bash religion.
This was also the first e-book I ever read and I loved being able to take it with me on my palm pilot and read whenever I wanted or could. One of the reasons I read it so quickly I think.
